Have you ever tried to sit down for meditation after a busy day, only to find that your mind keeps bombarding you with thoughts and feelings? Yes, me too. After all, our minds are used to being in charge, and don’t give up control without a fight.
Kundalini Yoga offers many tools and techniques to help the body and the mind access a state of peace and tranquility with ease. This mini-series focuses on meditation, and how to optimally prepare the body and mind for a blissful experience.
These two classes are for beginners and advanced students alike. All exercises can be done on a chair if sitting on the floor is challenging. Sign up for the whole series, or just for a class.
What to bring:
Wear comfortable, breathable clothing; preferably natural fibers. Cedar Sanctuary provides yoga mats, bolsters, and blankets (to cover yourself for a long relaxation), but feel free to bring your own.
What to leave at home:
- Any scents (some people are sensitive)
- Colds and flu's - let's keep everyone healthy!
